Laurent would already get into a fistfight for her actually. It's just Laurent and his high CR requirements for any sort of emotional discussion, gross.

I've stalked some Ann threads though, and Ann herself is a Swag Lady; you bring out her personality and charisma so well. And you're really cool too! I really appreciate your many positivity plurks; you're strong and great despite anything you might be struggling with RL-wise, and I have faith you'll get to a better place in life eventually. p.s: Speaking of the Whole Horse, lamen (that's their ship name) happens to have.... as you might say.... a Whole (Extra) Horse. I don't think their CR is good enough, but if Ann keeps helping out with the horses maybe one day.... she could ride one, if not get custody of it. Speaking of which I need to talk to r about horse custody lmfao

So. There are a lot of things I could say but first of all can I just really really appreciate that you're able and willing to play a character who has a decent tendency to make negative impressions and rub people the wrong way?

Like... I already was really enjoying the... complicated dynamic between him and Aster? And then I picked up Futaba, who - albeit in different ways - also has a tendency to cause friction. Aaaand not everybody took it well OOCly and that was just all around not fun and has made me realize how it's not always so simple? It takes a decent amount of patience and communication. So I guess the best way to put it I've gained mad respect since then? I dunno I hope this doesn't seem dumb or silly.

But yes, Laurent is wonderful and I honestly have started getting curious about his canon thanks to you. And I hope we can continue our CR now that I'm finally drifting back in LA's direction. 'o'

I think I had the luxury of communities that didn't mind so much- take LA for example, there're lots of potentially Problematic characters and so most of us have been in that position ourselves and don't mind (run free on the archipelago, Futaba). But it's definitely an added challenge and I stress out about it still.

I was really fond of Tataru when she was around! She was adorable, and now that I've gotten into ffxiv- well, I'm still on the free trial, so maybe that's why the NPCs aren't growing on me much)- I wanna give retroactive compliments for managing to turn an NPC into someone I'm sure many got attached to. I'm looking forward to see more of Futaba + take the Laurent/Aster CR bull by the horns!

Star! You are lovely and always open to talking and plotting! Laurent is... less lovely but I love that about him and the way you write him. You make people want to play with him without compromising on his characterisation one bit! It's not always easy to play a not good guy (especially the type that isn't actually a villain and isn't actually bad he's just... not good) and you pull it off marvellously.

I've enjoyed everything we've done and look forward to more of it <3
