Yes! I've never been to any of them myself, but the head monk at our monastery said that monks who are truly near mastery can project themselves into the Astral Plane. If I study hard, I might be able to do it too someday!

"Magic" isn't really something I'm that good at understanding in general, though. Is ki manipulation a kind of magic in your world, or is messing with life force something different entirely?

Um...I don't know what ki is, but magic's just...everywhere? Humans can't do it without rituals and frames of reference and all that stuff, but it's still in us! But using soul stuff is black and white for sure.

Well, maybe ki is a bit like soul stuff? It's a word for the pure, unfiltered life force present in all things.

...Um, but mine isn't black or white. It kinda comes out more... sunshiney-color?

Oh, that stuff--that's what you were using? Um, the colors aren't what it looks like, it's the...types? It's not like every illusion is gonna be green, that'd be dumb.

Ohhh, so your world sorts magic into colors instead of, uh, schools?

Okay, okay, um... so, I can heal by taking people's injuries onto myself, and I can protect someone by taking half of all their hurt too, and I can suppress hostility or enchantment, or I can... uh... read minds? What color is that? I hope it's yellow, because then I'd already be color-coded and everything.
