Societal reform, primarily.

[The answer is easy to find; it isn't as though that's ever changed, even if several of the moving parts have.]

My world suffers from a massive schism between the upper and lower classes. It's one that the nobility is unwilling to repair and obviously content to exploit, while those in poverty have lost faith in their governing body - and honestly, rightfully so.

It's unfortunate as it is, but it's also combined with the fact that the forces that be are a little...upset with us right now. Something that very few are willing to believe or do much about.
