Firearms are really uncommon. Not unheard of, but we typically have fonists and fonic-artes-based large weaponry instead.

Typically, Kimlasca is considered the more technologically advanced country, and Malkuth the more fonically inclined, but there's functionally little difference. Sheridan might be technically Kimlascan territory, but they export dreadnaughts and weapons to both countries. ... The person I know who used handguns was from Daath.
