No, not my thigh. I'm sure one of the boys would have caught sight of it by now were that the case.

[For a moment Ignis is confused and then it hits him where Soma means. He coughs into his hand, cheeks flushing slightly.]

Certainly not. I would like to think I have a little more taste than that.

Just how much did you... undress... when you shared a tent with your friends?

Oh, it depended on why we were changing. For bed, it was generally down to underwear. If we were wet or dirty from a hunt well, it was more than that sometimes. Of course, we tried to give each other as much privacy as possible, but that wasn't always easy. The same was true with bathing.

[Ignis is quiet for a long moment as if it takes time for him to process that and then he jerks back slightly.]

What? Absolutely not! Are you telling me people actually do that?

It usually blurs really bad and never looks that great but yeah! I saw a few girls with “Kiss Me” tattooed there! Just in pics, anyway.

[Ignis forehead wrinkles as an obvious look of disgust crosses his face. After a moment, he shakes his head.]

The things young people think of.

At this point I’d say I deserve to see it, but I won’t go that far. But yeah, I think I’m owed a little mercy now.

[Ignis can't help but grin slightly. Is that...pouting he hears in Soma's tone? It's a shame he can't see it if so.

He nods and then takes a step back, carefully measuring down about one inch diagonally from his left hip. The placement is just low enough that it won't be seen even if he strips down to just his underwear, and when he strips down to less he tends to be turned away from people which makes it pretty hard to see as well.

At least it's not a tramp stamp, right?]

Okay now that I actually see it? It's kinda nice. I'm a little jealous, too... I don't know if I can even get one.

[Ignis blushes slightly, not expecting the praise. Deep down, he's rather glad that Soma approves.]

Perhaps if someone can weave some magic into the ink it would stay?

[Soma's rather unique circumstances would make getting a normal tattoo impossible, wouldn't it?]

It'd be worth a try. I'd hate to see someone put all that work into it just for my regeneration factor to kick the ink out.

It's a shame Gladio isn't here. He knows more about the details of tattooing than I do. It's tradition for the Shields in his family to get a very large one that covers their whole back and arms when they are appointed officially. As much time as he spent there, he might have enough of a knowledge base we could actually start theorizing.
